Family Photography Bristol [Ann, Richard Elodie & Rufus]

Ann got in touch to arrange a family photoshoot to coincide with Elodie’s 4th birthday and to mark some special family time before she heads off to school in September. So we hooked up at Stoke Bishop Play Park in my neck of the woods in Stoke Bishop – North Bristol! It was a school day and with it being early morning we had the entire place to ourselves (bliss)! There are bigger – busier parks nearby but instead of fighting for space and waiting for swings these guys had their pick of equipment, and what a variety to choose from! You don’t just get the standard swings and slides here but a long zip wire, climbing frames for all ages and stages, bucket and rope swings, a trampoline and turfed ramps to walk and scramble over – not to mention a huuuge field to race about in!

Good fun was had. Elodie had a particular fascination with my camera and spent the majority of time only a few feet away – we made good friends! After the park we headed back to the family home for a few more photos – this often works well and gives the family a wider variety of images to choose from at the end. Anyway, after being a bit shy at first, Rufus dragged the duvets downstairs into the family room and from then on it was game on – photo after photo of hiding – boo – hiding – boo! It was a complete pleasure – enough said – here are some of my favourites:
